Working with the Mission Generation textbooks I have learned to love myself and my parents. I have also learned how to be responsible and to study hard. I think responsibility, respect and honesty are the most important values. These teachings have had a tremendous impact on my life. What has stuck with me the most was the fact that we have to have a life plan; I keep a journal next to my bed where I write down all my goals, dreams and ideas of how to make them come true. Before I knew about the Mission Generation textbooks I was afraid to dream big because I was afraid that my dreams might not ever come true. I would encourage my classmates and friends to be more responsible at school so that they do not miss opportunities in life and to always dream big.
One of the goals I had for this year was to be the class valedictorian. I typically made average grades, however this year I have applied myself as best I can to school and I am now the person in my class with the best grades.
