“I like this school (Eden) very much. I like to share my thoughts and perspective with my classmates. I know it sounds weird but I love to do homework.
I live close to the school with my parents and sister. I get along well with my parents and I love my sister but like all siblings we argue sometimes. I am currently the only Christian in my family.
This is the first year I have been working with the Mission Generation textbook, it is through the lessons that I have become a child of God. The lessons are very nice. Love is the topic I enjoy the most. Love is not a game; we have to respect the other person. I get great joy thinking about how God himself is love, it’s a complicated idea that I hope to someday fully understand. I have started going to a church called Cristo Misionero to help me better grasp ideas like these. All week I pray that when Sunday comes around my family will say yes when I ask them to come to church with me. Up until now I have gone every Sunday alone. Even though I am the youngest I want to be a good example to my parents and sister.
My dream is to be able to have a big house and a close family. To become a professional is another big dream of mine. I can achieve my dreams by studying hard and respecting myself and others. The teachings in the MG textbook are helping me see things I typically ignore. It’s wonderful to have a Christian teacher that I can now ask things I might be embarrassed to ask my parents as they are not yet Christian. I think this program is of great help to us adolescents.
