I am very excited about the parent training sessions. The parents have been very attentive to the importance of raising their kids with Christian values, setting examples for their children and becoming mentors in their life. Parents are very grateful that the school is promoting the Mission Generation Program. It has helped them resume good communication with their children.
Teachers also appreciate the initiative because they know that students who receive help with their home life will reflect that at school. It also affects the enthusiasm of the students in class.
Students are now excited to talk about important topics such as identity, sexuality, health and economics. These students generally use to receive their only information through television. One of the more relevant topics they learned through this program is that health also has great spiritual significance. Students learn to care for and nourish themselves through scripture and prayer. All in all, the program has been very well received and even motivated the classes.
