Share the True Joy of Jesus

Hey everyone!  I know you’re super-busy with all the Christmas preparations this season.  One of the best things you can accomplish this year is to make sure your children or grandchildren understand the true reason we make such a fuss.  There are many great children’s books to help your little ones know that it is the birth of Jesus that we celebrate.  If you click here, you’ll find a list of books for small children beautifully written and illustrated.  Another children’s book that I love is “A Charlie Brown Christmas” by Charles M. Schultz.  This is a sweet story that you can also watch on screen.

It would be worth your while to make a quick stop by your local library and borrow a few Christmas story books or run in your local bookstore and purchase a couple to read these last few days leading up to Christmas Day.

Over the years, I’ve sometimes got so caught up in all the “things to do” that I have allowed those “things” to crowd out Jesus, the reason for it all.  Leave your little ones with more than the lights, wrappings, Santa, and toys. These “things” come and go.  Show them Jesus, the hope of the world!
