Fun Easter Craft!

We are officially in Easter Season, and with Easter being a few weeks away, here is a great activity to do with your kids! This craft is simple and fun, and can lead to some great conversation about how Christ died for our sins and rose again so that we could have eternal life through Him.

What you’ll need:

Black construction paper

Paint Brushes

Bible verse cut out

Bright colored paints (sunset colors like yellow, orange, pink, purple, and blue)

Three cross cutout

White paper plate

Stapler or glue stick

What to do:

Pour the paint colors into individual areas of one of the paper plates

On a different paper plate, paint the sunset scene (let the kids be creative, it doesn’t have to be perfect!)

While the paint is drying, cut out three crosses and a hill from the black construction paper

Let the kids choose a bible verse that talks about Christ’s sacrifice, and write it with a white crayon or type it and print it to put on the hill

Once the paint has dried, use the stapler or glue stick to attach the black construction paper crosses and hill to the painted side of the paper plate.

Voila! You have a sunset cross scene and a great tool to teach your children about how Christ endured to save us from our sins.
