Messages from Myanmar

Normally, I distribute gospel tracts in many areas such as remote areas, the train station, and market areas. Some said “thank you,” others denied my gospel tracts. I shared with a lonely lady the gospel of Jesus Christ. As she permitted me to lay hands on her in prayer, she was comforted. She said, “I understand now God’s love and who Jesus is, but I don’t want to be a Christian. My relatives will look down on me.” Regardless, I prayed for her to be bold in Christ.

Friday is the day of prayer for my town and country. All missionaries around the world participate. After turning back from United States, I went to the board members and some church planters in Yangon Region and prayed for them in hopes that God would make their respective works increased.

Life is about investing in the lives of others. God allowed me to get a visa to visit the United States. I preached at some Myanmar Community Churches several times in the United States. I was given between $100 and $200. What I received was not used for family. I gave thousands to church planters and an orphanage. I did not buy anything for my own children. I invested in missionary workers who face difficulties in delivering the Gospel message to unbelievers. I believe that God will still provide for my family as I believe He fulfills His promises (Ps. 137:25).

I am one of the Executive Committee Members of Shwepyithar Township Christian Church’s Council. The council invited church leaders to a meeting and we all discussed ways we can go about helping each other. We educated church planters while living among extreme Buddhists. I thank God that I was elected to work with them.

By the mercy of God we have Sunday Services regularly and we have several church members attend. I am thankful for God’s work being done and for Mission Generation’s generous support.
