Different way of teaching

My name is Maria Ines Branez. I have been working at The Integral Catholic Education Center (CEICA) in Santa Cruz, Bolivia for about 25 years as the Executive Director. At the moment I am in charge of 8000 students

As a member of a Catholic religious order I used traditional religious teaching materials. Concern filled me when my students did not want to get involved with my teachings anymore; they had no interest in the “church’s lessons” and were bored. It was hard to keep them in class and often they would miss classes.  I was very worried about this situation, and asked God to provide me with a quick solution because I did not want to lose their souls.

God answered my prayers and I found a different way of helping my students start and develop a real relationship with God. It has caused a tremendous impact in all my students’ life.  The answer I found was Mission Generation’s textbooks.

I am blessed that my students have rediscover their   values and are establishing purpose in their lives. Now they know if they really want to reach their purpose they need to walk in the right pathway. It also encourages me to see my teachers getting more involved with Mission Generation Program. They want to prepare themselves to be able to guide their students in the right ways.

We have seen positive changes in our students who many a times are facing problematic and risky situations. Now they can do so with confidence and the faith that they are getting  make the right decisions being stronger in the Lord.

I have made a commitment to keep working on the spiritual growth of my students.  Please keep working this wonderful labor, more children are waiting to be fed with the Word of God.
