Values Voter Summit

By: Madeline Dunham

A few weeks back, Rocky and Joske Malloy were fortunate enough to attend the Values Voter Summit put on by the Family Research Council. Rocky is Mission Generation’s CEO and Joske is Mission Generation’s Editor and Chief. Mission Generation is so blessed to have staff members that are constantly involved with large communities of believers. Rocky and Joske heard from incredible speakers such as Mike Pompeo and Todd Starnes. Rocky said his favorite part was, “the feeling of unity around our roles as Christian Patriates. It was a great mix of the cross and the flag.” The Mission Generation team is already seeing how the insight gained from this convention is helping better our organization and cannot wait to see how it continues to do so!

The Family Research council’s vision is a culture in which all human life is valued, families flourish, and religious liberty thrives. The council has existed for over thirty years and has experienced tremendous growth since their founding in 1983.  The FRC is considered one of the most effective policy organizations. They put on multiple events and conventions to get the body of believers in one place to fulfill the mission of the organization. Their mission is to advance faith, family and freedom in public policy and the culture from the Christian worldview. Mission Generation’s programming is greatly influenced by this organization and the Mission Generation team is thankful to have the FRC as a positive influence on the organization.
