Mission Generation has an incredible chaplaincy program. Below is a testimony of one of the chaplains we work with abroad. We thank God for using incredible individuals to spread the gospel in our chaplaincy program.
My name is Daniel Diez. I am a chaplain at the Guard National School in Santa Cruz with my wife Vivianne. A while back, we were fortunate enough to find a house for rent right by this school we were hoping to pursue. God opened a clear door for us to begin our ministry there. Pastor Nicky González graciously invited us to enroll in the school counseling program because we expressed interest in working there. The pastor registered us in the program quickly. He introduced us to the director and we were soon able to enter as chaplains. On Saturday, July 21 we had our first meaningful experience with a child as we helped her address a family issue. With the direction of the Lord, we managed to provide effective help which increased our credibility with the teachers at the school. Because of the positive results we had with the student, the teachers asked us to schedule more conferences about moral orientation and prevention for students. I am grateful for the Lord’s sovereign hand in using us at Guard National School. Little by little we are seeing the positive results of the service we provide all for God’s glory. I believe that counseling is a great tool to preach the gospel of Christ because we get to help young people find hope and faith in God. We want to thank Pastor Nicky and Mission Generation for the selfless support.
