Setting Goals for the School Year

At the school I previously attended they used to teach religion as a school subject, but not as a relationship with God. It wasn’t an all-inclusive education; they didn’t teach us about taking care of our body, managing time, taking care of ourselves or being respectful. In fact, I like all the topics we discuss in the classroom. The lesson I’ve put in practice recently is “Responsibility”. I was a bit lazy the second term of school last year. I made the decision to work harder this school year. The Mission Generation text book showed me how to set goals and accomplish them. I am excited to set up guidelines to achieve what I want.

I love the MG textbooks and I would recommend that all schools apply these texts if they want to make their school a great community for learning. I never imagined that the Bible would also teaches to take care of our body, to eat well, etc. We usually learn about the Ten Commandments and Seven Sacraments at school but in order to fulfill those commandments, we have to love ourselves and that’s exactly what the textbook teaches us. I am truly grateful to all who played a role in the development of these texts.
