I think it’s great that Mission Generation has made a whole curriculum that promotes values in school, because we lack for them in our current society. Simply put, I think anyone that can take confused kids and give them a sense of purpose or destiny, is a genius!
Mission Generation has impacted my life through the positive changes I have seen in my son. These noticeable changes in him have helped me reevaluate some of the habits in my life. My son learned from the MG textbooks that everything has a purpose. So now my eight-year old’s favorite question is ‘why.’
One day he asked me “What is the purpose of drinking?”
This question caught me off guard. I had never really thought about it before. His question stuck with me and I understood that my son had realized I had a habit of drinking too much. This was the being of my journey to change.
I feel closer to my son now more than ever before. We have bonded as we have morphed together.
Thank you Mission Generation of changing my life but mostly for helping me raise a purpose driven son!
