Impacted for Good

Everything that we are taught through the Mission Generation text books helps us grow in character. We learn to value and respect ourselves as well as others. The values that I consider to be the most important in my life are responsibility, respect, love, good manners, and friendliness. These values have helped me grow in character and be more Christ like.

Something that caught my attention was the fact that there is no dominant sex, both men and women are equal and have the same opportunities in life although we are different. Another important fact is that we reap what we sow, if we are friendly then we will get friendliness. I have seen this fist hand in my life, when I behave a certain way and sow a seed into the ground I reap the harvest. I have also learned to enjoy every moment in my life and be grateful for what I have.

The message I could give people my age is that when they want something, they have to go for it and never give up until they get it. Having a strong drive in life can make a big difference in your attitude towards the things you get in life. Another thing that I have learned through the text books is that knowledge is something nobody can take from us and it makes us free, we should learn from others’ mistakes and apply it to our lives.
