Safely Arrived in Panama

The Maranatha Chapel team arrived safely in Panama on Saturday night.  This week they will be visiting a total of six public schools, volunteering in two churches and an orphanage. They will also have a day to experience the beauty of Panama’s Jungles, downtown Casco Viejo and Panama Canal.

The team started ministering early Sunday morning by visiting a local Panamanian church.

The team will be visiting the “Institution Bolivar” and the classrooms of “Juntos Podemos” today.  While in the classroom, the team will be sharing their personal testimony on how the Lord has changed their life.  They will also have an opportunity to share a skit and other activities that points them to Christ. As the team prepares for ministry in the schools today, please pray every child the mission team comes across would be permanently changed by God’s grace and share the good news with their parents, siblings, friends and extended family.

With a team of 18 students and leaders, Maranatha Chapel will have many unique opportunities to share with kids what the Lord is teaching them.  The team has been preparing for several weeks and are ready to be used by the Lord.  Stay tuned for pictures and stories of what God is doing in the lives of the Panamanian students this week.
