Now there are 250 vendors selling different products. The average daily expense is $4USD per person. There are approximately 25000 inhabitants in the township and most of them live on temporary jobs.

Mission Generation has been operating there for 6 years; as a result, significant changes in lifestyle have been noticed, especially among young kids and school-age students. After sharing the gospel with them, we are committed to help them with different necessities, namely providing medical assistance, medicine, toys, candy and school supplies for free.

Feed the Children provided medical supplies while UPIAIA provided doctors and nurses to give care to children and mothers, as well as female vendors and visitors. Over the course of the day 1,027 women and children were shown Christ’s love through the dedication of the amazing groups that we partnered with. It was such a blessing to be able to coordinate this trip, one of the numerous mission expeditions that Mission Generation aids each year.

Interested in bringing a team or a part of your church to fellowship with us in Santa Cruz?
