Lent is a season of prayer and discipline.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lent is 40 days in length because it signifies Jesus\u2019 40 days in the desert. We celebrate the end of the Lent season with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This Lent season is a great time to teach your kids what it means to sacrifice and practice self disciple. By giving up things like soda, sugar, social media, youtube, ipad time, TV time, and other things, you and your kids can help each other stay accountable.
