We recently received notice that a student in San Diego is greatly benefitting from the \u201cMy Best Me\u201d curriculum. For confidentiality, we will call this student \u201cJim.\u201d Jim is a student with special needs. None of the Christian schools in California had the resources to admit a child with special needs into their program. While this was discouraging at first, Jim\u2019s public school teacher stated:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am planning to integrate \u201cMy Best Me\u201d into Jim\u2019s functional life skills curriculum. Some lessons are aligned to his goals and if so I will pull \u2018My Best Me\u2019 for that. I will try and implement a little each day for Jim.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Though Jim could not find a Christian school to attend, we are rejoicing that he will still be exposed to truth through the \u201cMy Best Me\u201d curriculum in the public school he attends. It is so encouraging to see the mission of Mission Generation being carried out in a big way in the public school system.
