One resource that is unparalleled when it comes to making bible stories easy to share with young children is the Jesus Storybook Bible by Sally Lloyd-Jones.

Though there are lots of amazing stories in the bible, all the stories are attempting to proclaim one common theme: that God loves His children and will come to their rescue. The Jesus Storybook Bible seeks to share with children that they are very much a part of that story. Jesus loves today’s children and wants to rescue them as much as he wanted to rescue His children thousands of years ago.

If you are looking for an opportunity to open up the word with your child, the Jesus Storybook Bible might be one of the best resources you have to help you accomplish that goal. As children begin to understand the truth found in the Jesus Storybook Bible, they will begin to understand and recognize their personal need for the gospel of Jesus Christ. This will open many doors for you to present to them what a relationship with Christ looks like and how they can be saved by trusting that Jesus Christ died for their sins and rose again, so they might have a relationship with Christ through the Holy Spirit.

By no means should the Jesus Storybook Bible be a replacement for the Holy Bible. The Jesus Storybook Bible should be used to help them be able to connect to the Holy Bible as they grow older and begin to understand the importance of constantly seeking after the Lord through His word.

For more information about the Jesus Storybook Bible, visit: http://www.jesusstorybookbible.com/

By: Madeline Dunham Parents often struggle to find biblical resources that effectively explain stories from the bible to young children.
